Taxes and Duty – US Customers
You can buy from Pace with confidence knowing we're well practiced at sending our frames and bikes to the US and around the World. Daily collections with various shipping providors depending on your location, all tracked and signed for.

All information website shows 2 prices:
- UK Price – Includes UK VAT (20%) – eg: Pace RC629 - £799
- Non-UK Price – Excludes UK VAT – eg: Pace RC629 – £665.83
US Customers are charged the Non-UK price. The products purchased will then incur Duty and a processing fee when they arrive in the USA. This is handled by the shipping providor.
OVERVIEW:
The US has specific duty rates for bike and frameset purchases. These are defined by the Harmonized System (HS) Code, for the product. US Customers must also pay an additional ‘reciprocal tariff’ rate of 20%.
Once the product has shipped; Our shipping partner will send you an Import Invoice for Customs Duty and Fees, please keep an eye on your junk folder. You'll need to pay this in order to release and ship your Pace. If for whatever reason you do no pay the invoice within the time frame outlined by the shipper - the goods will then be returned to Pace. We'll then have to re-charge shipping to re-send it out again so please pay your customs/duty on time so you don't have to pay shipping twice!
Some shipping companies have a ‘Processing Fee’ to handle the customs arrangements. This differs by country but is typically between 15 and 20 Dollars. Some shipping companies do not charge a 'Processing Fee'.

STATE TAX
Because Pace Cycles ships from outside the US and we operate as a small business, we do not charge state sales tax at checkout. However, depending on your state’s regulations, you may still be responsible for paying use tax. Use tax is typically applied at the same rate as your state’s sales tax.
