All information website shows 2 prices:
- UK Price – Includes UK VAT (20%) – eg: Pace RC629 - £799
- Non-UK Price – Excludes UK VAT – eg: Pace RC629 – £665.83
EU customers are charged the Non-UK price.
At Pace Cycles, we believe great design should be accessible. Paying an extra 14% duty on your bike doesn’t help anyone — so we’ve found a smarter way. We’ve created a range of custom builds that celebrate UK and EU–made components. Because these builds qualify for 0% import duty, they can save you up to 14% on the cost of your bike.
DUTY ON COMPLETE BIKE BUILDS:
Every Pace bike is assembled in North Yorkshire. This allows us to guide you through component choices that ensure the finished bike qualifies for 0% duty on a complete build.
Our UK and EU build options focus primarily on components manufactured within the UK and EU and by configuring your bike with these components, it qualifies for zero duty.
VAT is still payable at your local country rate on all purchases. You can see your countires VAT rate in the table below.
Duty on frameset Purchases RC295, RC629 and RC429:
- RC295 framesets charged 4.7% duty when shipped into the EU.
- RC629 framesets charged 4.7% duty when shipped into the EU.
- RC429 framesets chared at 0% duty as they are made in the EU.
